NSS unit started in 1972. The college runs two NSS unit. The intake capacity is 150 volunteers. 75 volunteers are permitted for special camp. NSS organize various programmed like Cleanness Drive, Shramadan, Health Awareness, Mazi Vasundara, etc. National Service Scheme (NSS) is beneficial to both students as well as the society in various different means. NSS helps the student to grow individually and also as a group. It makes the students confident, develop leadership skills, and gain knowledge about different people from different walks of life. Dr. R. J. Mahajan and Dr. P. M. Kanake are working as programme officers at present.
